Objectives of the Course |
To teach students the urban planning processes, application tools and methods.
To educate conscious individuals aiming to realize practices in the urban planning in order to ensure sustainable development by considering the economic, social and environmental values of the city. |

Course Contents |
To be able to be perceived and read with all dimensions of the city. To gain the culture of planning; the development of the cities, the factors that direct the urban development / actors and the relationship between them, to understand the reasons behind the urban problems. Raising awareness about the roles of urban and professional people in the creation and protection of urban identity. Obtaining key information for reading and evaluation of zoning plans.
The legal tools of urban planning and architectural practices.
Performing field studies and performing on-site detection and analysis studies, creating sample plan scenarios and making plan decisions. Preparation of 1/5000 Master Plan and 1/1000 Implementation Plan. |
