Materials used in construction, basic properties of materials, usage areas in construction, production methods, application forms.

5Stone wall types, ashlar and ashlar wall coverings, ashlar masonry methods.
6Terra cotta materials, areas of use, brickwork wall types.
7Brickwork wall types, brickwork masonary tecniques, types of brick bonds.
8Use of stone and bricks together, alternatively constructed walls, use of bricks as a beam on a stone wall.
9Introduction of wooden materials, types, usage areas, development of wooden architecture in history.
10Wooden construction types, masonry wooden structures and corner connection types.
11Timber construction systems, frame structure, timber frame structure types.
12Examples of traditional wooden architectural practices and types of construction from the Black Sea region.
