Material knowledge, definition of ceramic, history, introduction of ceramics in Turkish and world and examination of application techniques, freeforming, three-dimensional and decorative works with casting-mold method.

Week	Theoretical	Practice	Laboratory
1	Definition of serami, short history, basic concepts. Practice: Practical information about the laboratory, secret room, furnace room and the use of the devices and the matters to be considered in the relevant places.
2	Classification of ceramic sludge (s). Sludge raw materials and their properties. Application. Examples of ceramic products
3	Ceramic milling, mud preparation. Application
4	Shaping methods, drying, drying methods and the points to pay attention. Visual presentation of sludge preparation and shaping methods. Application
5	Free forming technique. Design information is given to the students about the application to be made.
6	Sausage-wicking technique with shaping. Design information is given to the students about the application to be made.
7	Shaping with plate technique. Design information is given to the students about the application to be made.
8	Midterm
9	Form application designed with learned shaping methods
10	Providing the ability of correcting the application form by using ceramic tools. Application of one of the acuity, relief or scraping techniques on the form.
11	The hiding of things in accordance with the desiccation and drying of the works.
12	Drying and retouching of completed applications
13	It is fired in ceramics. Fuming aids and their properties. Introduction of different cooking techniques.
