Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to teach the general concepts of plant science, to understand the importance of classification in plant world, to know the structure of a plant cell, organelles, cell division stages and to recognize the cell as a whole, to understand the plant tissues and cell organizations To understand the physiological and taxonomic structure in a basic sense and to give students the ability to think and research analytically.

1Learn the basic concepts of plant science.
2Understands that the field of botany works together with multidisciplinary branches such as anatomy, morphology, physiology and taxonomy.
3Analyzes the formation of organizations such as cells, tissues and organs in a plant and how they form the organism by working together.
4Adapts botanical subjects to current life.
5Understands plant biology with new and up-to-date information and makes comparisons with human biology.

Course Contents
Will have information about the general properties of plants. Learn the general properties of plants and learn about root, stem, leaf and reproductive organs. To learn general information about plant morphology and anatomy and systematic.

1Teaching the sub-disciplines of botany science (morphology, anatomy, taxonomy, ecology, etc.).
2Describing the properties of plant cells by comparing them with the other living groups. Explanation of cell theory, photosynthesis and respiration in connection with related organelles.
3Explanation of mitosis and meiosis cell division.
4Explanation of the plant tissues (Tectonic tissues-Adult tissues, the characteristics of the perennial tissues of the plant in the place of tunica, korpus, etc.).
5Grouping and explaining mature tissues I-Parenchyma, support and dermal tissue locations, functions, functional elements
6Grouping and explaining mature tissues II- Transmission, suction and secretion places in plant tissue, functions, functional elements.
7Organography in plants I- To teach the anatomical and morphological structure of the root and its functions, to teach root metamorphosis.
8Organography in plants II- Anatomical and morphological structure of the body and its functions, body metamorphosis.
9Midterm
10Organography in plants III- To teach the anatomical and morphological structure of the leaf and its functions, to teach leaf metamorphosis.
11Organography in plants IV- Description of the flower and its functions in plants.
12To explain the reproduction of plants and to teach the production of progeny.
13Teaching of fruit and its functions in plants.
14Explanation of the place and importance of classification in plant kingdom
15Seeds: Seeds, Seedlings, Dicotyledons.
