The aim of this subject is to present the learners the progress of the development in social, physical, cognitive and emotional areas, which begins before birth and continues untill death.

Course Contents
The concept of development is examined in terms of its models, theories and research methods. It contains physical, motor, perceptıonal, cognitive, lingustic,emotional,ethic developments and progress of sexual roles, parent child relations,problems with children's behaviours and adaptation and issues on adolecence transition.
