1İçten yanmalı motorlarda üretilen tork ve hız taşıtın doğrudan tahriki için uygun olmadığını, değişen yol ve yük durumlarında motorun ürettiği tork ve hızın taşıtın ihtiyacı olan tork ve hız karakterini bilir.
2Güç aktarma organlarını, görevlerini, tork ve devir değişimlerini gerçekleştirme usullerini, ( kavrama, vites kutusu, şaft, mafsallar, diferansiyel, akslar, tekerlek ve lastikleri kapsar) çalışma koşullarını bilir.
