| Objectives of the Course |
| To explain nutritional and agronomical characteristics of feedstuffs used by farm animals (small and large ruminants and horses); to explain nutrient requirements for maintenance and production (growth, lactation, gestation, reproduction, and wool/mohair) and environmental condition effects; to demonstrate ration formulation for optimum productivity; to explain nutrient metabolism and metabolic disturbances.
