The aim of the course is to give students basic information about farm animals and livestock culture.

1Comprehends general animal husbandry in the world and in Turkey.
2Learns animal species and races.
3Comprehends basics of animal breeding, behavior, growth and development.
4Comprehends the importance of animal husbandry, determination of the necessary species to breed and makes decisions about these issues.
5Makes decisions about breeds to raise and applies themn.
6Compares farm animals in terms of efficiency and performance
7Finds the problems of animal husbandry and comes out with solutions.
8Learns the contributions of breeding work to livestock farming.
