The aim of the course is to give students basic information about farm animals and livestock culture.

1	Comprehends general animal husbandry in the world and in Turkey.
2	Learns animal species and races.
3	Comprehends basics of animal breeding, behavior, growth and development.
4	Comprehends the importance of animal husbandry, determination of the necessary species to breed and makes decisions about these issues.
5	Makes decisions about breeds to raise and applies themn.
6	Compares farm animals in terms of efficiency and performance
7	Finds the problems of animal husbandry and comes out with solutions.
8	Learns the contributions of breeding work to livestock farming.
