PERSONAL SURVIVAL TECHNIQUES TRAINING - Clash - Fire - Sinking - Type of lifesaving equipment on board - Located life-saving equipment in liferafts and lifeboats - Location of personal life-saving appliances - Principles about survival - The importance of education and training - Use of personal protective clothing and equipment - Being prepared for emergencies - Lifeboats and life rafts and life saving station when the call is made to the implementation of the action - Movement styles in abandon ship - Movement styles when made in water - The implementation of the action in liferafts and lifeboats - The main dangers for survivors FIRE PREVENTION & FIRE FIGHTING TRAINING - Fire-fighting organization - Fire-fighting Equipment - Location of emergency escape routes - Fire and explosion elements - Fire triangle - Ignition types and sources - Combustible materials, fire hazards and the spread of fire - Continuous need to be cautious and careful - Movement styles on board - Fire / smoke detection and automatic alarm systems - Classification of fire and applicable extinguishing agents - Fire-fighting equipment on board and locations - Stationary equipments and use of equipment - Firefighters and use of equipment - Use of personal equipment - Firefighting equipment and use of them - Fire-fighting procedures, methods and implementation - Use of breathing apparatus ELEMENTARY FIRST AID TRAINING - Evaluation of accidents and threats to their safety - Evaluation of the body structure and function - Emergency preventions need to be taken in case of emergency - Determination of the place of accident - The application of resuscitation techniques - Controlling to Bleeding - The proper use of basic shock management - Appropriate intervention procedures for accidents caused by electric current - Appropriate intervention procedures burn by boiling water and other burn accidents - Rescue and transport a survivor - The application of the bandage - The use of supplies in the emergency kit PERSONAL SAFETY AND SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY TRAINING - To comply with the emergency procedures - Clash - Fire - Sinking - Knowing the probability plans to respond to emergencies on board - Emergency signals - The allocation of specific tasks to the crews in drill schedules. - Muster stations - Correct use of personal safety equipment - The procedures to be performed for explore the potential emergencies such as fire,clash,sinking and water entered the ship - Emergency alarm signals when the required action to be implemented. - The importance of education and training. - Escape routes, internal communication and alarm systems. PRECAUTION TO BE TAKEN FOR PREVENT POLLUTION AROUND THE SEA - The operational impact of pollution or accidents of the marine enviroment. - Basic environmental protection methods. - Basic information about the complexity and diversity of the marine environment - SAFETY APPLICATIONS TO BE OBSERVE - The importance of adherence to safe working practices. - Safety and protection devices are available to protect against the potential dangers of the ship. - Measures should be taken before entering the closed area. - Information about international precautions on accident prevention and occupational health - CONTRIBUTING TO THE EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION ON BOARD - Principles of effective communication between individuals and teams on board. - Information about the barriers to communication. - Communicate effectively and protection skills. - CONTRIBUTING TO THE EFFECTIVE HUMAN RELATIONS ON BOARD - The importance of maintaining good human and labor relations board. - Basic principles and practices of teamwork, including resolving the dispute. - Social responsibility; working conditions; personal rights and obligations. - The dangers of drug and alcohol use as purposefully bad. - CONTROLING THE FATIGUE AND UNDERSTANDING TO FATIGUE - The importance of providing the necessary listening - Sleep, fatigue programs and their impact on the daily pace - Effects of physical source of stress on crews. - Effects of environment stress inside and outside of ship and effects of these on crews - Impact of program changes on the fatigue of seafarers. PROFICIENCY IN SURVIVAL CRAFT AND RESCUE BOATS - RESPONSIBILITY ON LIFERAFTS AND LIFEBOATS DURİNG AND AFTER LAUNCHING - Construction, hardware, equipment, properties and facilities of liferafts and lifeboats. - Systems which used to launch the liferafts and lifeboats. - Methods of launching the liferafts and lifeboats on a wavy sea. - Methods of taken up the liferafts and lifeboats. - The procedures to be performed after abandoned ship. - Dangers of using to the release systems which is loaded. - Maintenance and attitudes methods. - STARTING THE ENGINES OF LIFEBOATS - Starting the engines of lifeboats and methods of operations. -MANAGING THE SURVIVORS,LIFERAFTS AND LIFEBOATS AFTER LEAVING THE SHIP - Controling the liferafts and lifeboats at strong weathers. - Use of parima rope,sea anchor and other equipments. - Food and water sharing in the liferafts and lifeboats. - Action which should be done for determining the location of liferafts and lifeboats. - Helicopter rescue method. - Effects and prevention of hypothermia. - Use of diving suit,immersion süit,protective covers and protective clothes. - Use of liferafts and lifeboats with motors for pull drive the lifeboats and rescue survivors and persons at sea. - Disembarkation of the liferafts and lifeboats. - USE OF POSITION EQUIPMENTS WHICH ARE COMMUNICATION AND MARKING DEVICES / FLARES. - Epirbs and SARTs. - Use of radio equipments which being inside the liferafts and lifeboats. - Pyrotechnics and using procedures. - IMPLEMENATATIONS OF FIRS AID FOR SURVIVORS. - First aid kit and the use of vitalization techniques. - Controlling the bleeding and shock - Lead to injured.
